     The Houston Zoo Hours and Events Timing

  • 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. with Last entry 6 p.m. no one is allowed after 6 p.m.
  • The Houston zoo is open 7 days a week.
  • The exhibits and activities times are also important.
  • Giraffe feeding time is 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.some times Giraffe does not participate and also the bad weather condition can also effect this event.
  •  Naturally wild swap shop is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • The Amphibians house is open at 10 a.m.
  • Kathrine Mc Govern water play park  open on April 1 – October 12, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Houston zoo Tickets and Free Admission

  1. The Houston zoo offers free admission on first Tuesday of every month. September through may from noon until closing . The zoo does not offer free after noon in June , July and August.
  2. The zoo is closed on Christmas day.
  3. The adult ticket fee is $18 .
  4. The senior ticket fee is $11.50.
  5. $14 for children  ages between 2-11 years.
  6. The zoo has no charges for age less than 2 years.
